The Hyper Q technology allows to work in simultaneous multi-frequencies by emitting a combination of different frequencies up to 80 kHz. No need to choose the most suitable operating frequency, the Quest V80 does it for you. The simultaneous multi-frequency technology allows to achieve the best detection performance regardless of the playing field and the type of targets being searched for.

Moreover, the Quest V80 offers great flexibility as it also allows to work in single frequency and offers a choice of six detection frequencies: 5, 10, 15, 20, 40, and 60 kHz. QUEST V80: Waterproof detector up to 5m and vibrating handle

The versatility of the metal detector QUEST V80 does not stop at its detection frequencies. The control box is waterproof up to 5m depth, which allows to transform the V80 into a real underwater detector. QUEST V80: The first detector with an accelerometer

The QUEST V80 detector is the first detector to integrate a gyroscopic sensor also called an accelerometer which offers a series of advantages that enhance the user experience. The accelerometer captures the detector’s movements. This allows to automatically adjust the ground effects without the need to press a button. Simply bobbing from bottom to top will trigger the gyroscopic sensor which will automatically and instantly calibrate the V80 detector to the ground mineralization to adapt to the terrain characteristics.

The gyroscopic sensor also detects when the device is not in use and automatically enters sleep mode. When the disc is no longer in motion, the detector turns off and goes into sleep mode after 5 seconds of inactivity. A simple movement of the disc will automatically activate the detector and take it out of sleep mode. This unique option allows for energy saving and increases the rechargeable lithium battery’s autonomy of the detector.

Another benefit of the accelerometer is that the sensor determines the scanning speed of the user and adjusts the detector’s reactions to always offer the same sounds whether scanning slowly or quickly. A real advantage in the field!
