Recognizing an Original Metal Detector

In a market where counterfeits are common, it’s essential to ensure that the device you’re buying is genuine and guaranteed.

1. Buy Only from Authorized Dealers

The first guarantee of authenticity is buying from an official dealer authorized by the manufacturer.

2. Check for the Authenticity Sticker

All genuine detectors come with a security sticker on the side of the main unit, marked “Original” or “Authentic”.
This sticker:

  • Contains complex security features
  • Is very difficult to forge
  • Allows easy recognition of original devices at a glance

3. Direct Confirmation from the Manufacturer

If you’ve already purchased a device and want to verify its authenticity, you have two options:

  1. Take clear photos of the device and its serial number, or preferably, a short video.
  2. Send everything directly to the manufacturer, who will confirm whether the device is genuine.

4. Check with Mr Detecteur

You can also send us the following:

  • Serial number of the device
  • Photo of the device

Via email or WhatsApp, and our team will confirm its authenticity as quickly as possible.

Never buy a device without an invoice or from a non-authorized seller.
In such cases, you can’t guarantee authenticity or benefit from after-sales service or warranty.
