Description
The Garrett ACE 250 Metal Detector from Garrett is the best-selling model of the brand. The ACE 250 remains affordable for small budgets, it has the same properties and functionalities as the ACE 150 detector with some improvements that make it more efficient. The LCD screen will display more precise information.
Like the ACE 150, the sensitivity is adjustable. The ACE 250 has 8 levels of sensitivity, instead of 4. The ACE 250 also provides a more precise indication (4 levels, instead of 3) of the target’s probable depth. With Multi-tone capability, the ACE 250 emits a sound that varies in pitch (3 levels of tones) depending on the nature of the target.
The ACE 250 offers 5 factory pre-set search modes (compared to 3 for the ACE 150) including a customizable mode: all metals, jewelry, coins, relics, and custom.
The ACE 250 is equipped with a discrimination function that allows the exclusion of certain metals from detection, such as ferrous metals that are generally of little value.
