The XTREM HUNTER is controlled by the XP DEUS 2 remote control. In addition to the sound signal, the LCD screen of the remote control provides a clear and precise visual of the scanned ground like an oscilloscope, allowing for the determination of detected target characteristics: size and depth.

– Surface ferrous discrimination

In addition, the XTREM HUNTER offers a solution to discriminate surface ferrous materials. Once the IAR discrimination is activated from the remote control, the detector will emit a low or medium sound allowing for the distinction of small surface ferrous targets. It is also possible to discriminate small surface ferrous materials by lifting the antenna off the ground. The higher the antenna, the less sensitive the detector will be to small ferrous targets.

ATTENTION: For maximum performance, using the XTREM HUNTER requires the absence of metal on oneself or around oneself: phone, keys, belt buckle, steel-toe shoes, and any other metal objects should be removed during use.

The XP Xtrem Hunter antenna is fully compatible with the XP Deus 2. The XP Deus 2 remote control is essential for its use. The intuitive interface of the remote control ensures ease of use. All XP poles (Stemlite, Deus 1, and Deus 2) are compatible with the Xtrem Hunter and can be attached to this antenna. Wireless headsets compatible with the XP Deus 2 remote control (WS6, WSA 2, and WSA 2XL) can also be used with the Xtrem Hunter disc.
