Description
Water and Cavity Detector up to 100 Meters Deep
Like its big brother GeoSeeker, the GeoSeeker Mini uses a geo-electrical measurement procedure based on Schlumberger. The water detector – which can also be used to detect underground cavities – determines the soil resistivity. Based on this apparent soil resistivity, the detector is capable of detecting underground water resources such as fresh water, drinking water, aquifer gravel, and groundwater levels.
Using the GeoSeeker Mini Water and Cavity Detector
The GeoSeeker Mini water detector is operated by a touch screen. You select the measurement depth and the number of exploration points, and simply follow the graphical instructions. Thanks to the use of easy-to-understand images and icons, the GeoSeeker Mini is multilingual using a visual language.
Graphical Visualization of Water Resources and Cavities
After the geo-electrical measurement with the GeoSeeker Mini water detector, the data is processed. The type of display can then be selected. The new version of the software includes a legend in the lower display area of the 2D diagram. With the newly added pictograms, users can now directly read the diagram: Colors in the diagram indicate water deposits (blue with water droplets) and/or detected cavities (red with the tunnel symbol).
Water Detection
Underground water resources have good electrical conductivity, and the measurement yields low apparent resistivity values. The ability to detect water is very useful for
water dowsing rod, water detector
well drillers, well diggers
agriculture, horticulture
mining operations, construction companies
Detectable underground water deposits include
water table level
freshwater, drinking water
underground watercourses, water veins
water flow, upper courses
Cavity Detection
Cavities and hidden chambers have relatively low electrical conductivity and high resistance values. The ability to detect cavities is useful for
archaeologists, historians
treasure hunters
geotechnical studies
military services
construction contractors
Detectable underground cavities include
cavities, tunnels
galleries and wells
chambers, tombs, graves
bunkers, vaults, cellars, rooms
