Description
The Minelab Equinox 900 is a high-end all-terrain metal detector (land, beaches, underwater) that operates in simultaneous multifrequency or selectable single frequencies (4, 5, 10, 15, 20, 40 kHz). The Minelab Equinox 900 has four pre-set detection programs (Park, Field, Beach, and Gold) that allow for direct use + 8 customizable modes. It is an improved version of the Minelab Equinox 800 that offers more comfort and performance than its predecessor.
Minelab Equinox 900 Detector: A new compact and sturdy telescopic shaft
The Minelab Equinox 900 detector features a new Carbon telescopic shaft, which provides more lightweight and robustness to the detector. The detector weighs 1.2 kg. The shaft is fully telescopic and measures only 61 cm when folded. A real improvement that allows you to easily carry your detector in any backpack! The shaft is equipped with a sturdy armrest, adjustable in 3 levels, which enhances the grip of the detector for more comfort in the field. Finally, the handle of the shaft is now vibrating, providing a real advantage for underwater users and the hearing impaired.
Minelab Equinox 900 Detector: Low latency wireless Minelab headphones included
The Equinox 900 comes with a new Minelab wireless headphones with low latency, called ML85. In other words, there is less delay between detecting a target and when the target sounds, allowing for more precise target localization on the ground.
The new control box of the Minelab Equinox 900:
The Equinox 900 features a backlit red color screen and keyboard backlighting in the same color. The control box also includes an integrated LED lamp on the back that illuminates the detection coil, which can be manually activated and deactivated, very useful for detecting in low light conditions.
Minelab Equinox 900: Waterproof up to 5m
This is one of the highlights of this new generation. The Equinox 700 and 900 now meet the IP68 waterproof standard, allowing for underwater use up to 5m deep compared to 3m previously. This meets the needs of the vast majority of users and satisfies underwater detection enthusiasts.

Improved high-resolution target identification:
The Equinox 900 offers a higher level of precision in target identification, leaving less room for doubt. It has 119 levels of conductivity. From 0 to 99 for non-ferrous targets and from -19 to 0 for ferrous targets.
Better discrimination and responsiveness:
The Equinox 700 and 900 offer improved target analysis in both clean and mineralized terrain. Target recovery speed is significantly improved, allowing for the separation of good and bad targets and strengthening performance in cases of good targets close to ferrous items.
